Learn about the ancient river herring as they swim each Spring from the ocean up the river to spawn. Meet at the Ipswich Mills Dam fish ladder to hear highlights of recent UMass research on river herring migration and behavior in the Ipswich River.

Alan will discuss his new mural, celebrating 350 years of Ipswich history. He also has created a poster just for this event that will be available for purchase.
